Uptown Swuite of my favorite MCs from the Boondocks & lucky for me he's been on his grind lately. He popped up on that Lee Bannon tape a few weeks ago, then he popped up on C.B. News' new track Walk With Me featuring Supastition, & I just picked up the track Ridin with Kahlee & Slo-Mo (of Fortlive) off of the upcoming project The Seed (not too sure about this, but I think Uptown is a part of this project as more than a guest feature). I'm not even gonna front; when Tyga (aka Mr.Coconut Juice) first came out I thought he was wack. Hell, his first album was basura & really made me doubt that he had any talent outside of having a semi-decent flow. I don't know if he has a ghostwriter now or he's just stepped his game up (which is totally possible) but I've been digging all of the new stuff he's been putting out. Granted, he's not everyone's cup of tea (especially underground heads) but since he's hailing outta Cali, I support dude's music & yall should too.
